Personality: Garnet is...how should I put it...protective, loving, soft hearted, caring, hot-headed, hard-headed, short-tempered, and above everything else nervous. Ever since she was little Garnet was always the one to watch out for other people. Even when they were older than her. Her short-temper becomes appearent when put alone in the same room with a guy. She hates men for the most part. Her hard-head / hot-head is always there when a friend of her gets hurt or is annoying her.
She almost never shows her kind and caring side too anyone. She doesn't think its a weakness at all, just for her own reasons, Garnet fears of her being broken once more. She's set up a subconscious barrior that says "Don't show your soft side." And that's how short-tempered Garnet was born. For the most part anyways.
History: Garnet grew up in the Village Hidden in the Shadows. She was part of the Tori Clan along with her Older Brother and her favorite cousin, Takeo. The Tori Clan was a clan of not ninjas, but assassins. They were very hard on Garnet, aside from Takeo. Since she had been born with a very high level of chakra. Garnet didn't know how to control all that chakra even so she was put on a high pedstal at a young age. She didn't like the hard training and often lived with her cousin Takeo since he was the only who ever made her smile.
One day Garnet had come back from a mission to Takeo's empty house. She rememebered clearly that he said to meet back at his house when she got back. But he wasn't there. Garnet didn't want to go back to her place, so she waited at Takeo's. It wasn't long before her brother showed up and told her that Takeo had been killed on a mission. Needless to say Garnet was very upset and everyday after that she had refused to speak too anyone in her clan or village. Garnet turned sixteen now. She's had enough of her clan and their hard training. Garnet murdered her whole clan in board day-light. She didn't even try to hide it. She left the village that very day.
Although Lord Kage never did announce her has a missing-nin, Garnet figured she might as well be one and stratched her headband bearing the village crest on it. She never wore it after that, but always kept it in her bag.

It wasn't long before Garnet found her way into Konohagakure no Sato, The Village Hidden in the Leaves. There in a ramen shop she met a man named Sylon from the Mist Village. After eating and talking to Sylon for a bit a girl Luna came into the ramen shop as well. Sylon and Luna seemed to know each other. Luna didn't seem to like Garnet even though she had never done aything to the Luna girl. After eating more ramen something caught Sylon's attention. It was a explosion in a forest not to far from where they were at the moment. Sylon left the ramen shop to go see what was going on and it was about a minute later that Garnet followed. Garnet was being watched by someone even though she was well hidden in a tree. It was none other than the Zombie Pair of the Akatsuki. Hidan seemed to take a liking to the red head, but Kakuzu couldn't have cared less about her. At the same time that Garnet and Hidan were talking to eachother Sylon was fighting a woman named Nakozan. And it also didn't take long for Garnet to figure out that Hidan was an immortal.
